Standing Together

The story of Shadrach, Meshac, and Abednego is a powerful story of unwavering faith. Faced with what they understood as certain death, they chose to obey the Lord rather than go along with the crowd. There they were, three friends standing in a crowd of thousands who bowed. Every time their names are spoken, they're spoken together because they stood together.

While it is unlikely we'll face a fiery furnace for following the Lord, we still have constant temptation to compromise our beliefs. How much more would we stand if we didn't have to stand alone? What if we had more victories if we faced battles together, rather than in isolation?

The Grace Family men's camping trip is an opportunity to live life together for a couple of days. It's a chance to pull away from our hectic routines and build the friendships of unity and trust with men who can stand together when trials come. What if you had a group of brothers you know had your back in life's battles? 

The world needs godly men, and godly men need one another.

Camp Berry has graciously offered to host us in their field and the majority of the camping is tent camping. There are some RV hookups on site.

Each person is responsible for providing their own meals but we are encouraging everyone to bring some to share as well. The goal of the weekend is to spend time eating, studying, and sharing together.

There will be times scheduled for the group to gather and study scripture together.
